When is the best time to announce your pregnancy?

One of the most exciting times in your pregnancy is getting that first positive test. You probably want to tell the whole world you’re expecting. Many parents-to-be wait until the end of the first trimester — around week 14 — to tell friends and family about their pregnancy and others wait until week 20. 

How to announce your pregnancy?

Before you go and announce it on social media, there is a bit of etiquette on how to announce pregnancy: the in-person tell, the phone call, the email, and the social media share.

Of course, Grandma to be wouldn’t want to see it on Instagram before you called her. So be mindful and tell those important to you first before you blast it over social media.
